Adrian's Biography
Born in Sweeden
I started playing drums in 1981, pretty soon after i could hold my first beat down me and a friend that played guitar tried to form a band. We tried to be a heavy metal band but it sounded really lame with todays standards, hahhah. The first song we learnt was "I love rock n roll" by Joan Jett. However as we progressed as musicians we got a couple of other guys in and pretty soon after that we were doing covers of bands like Def leppard, Dokken, Twisted sister, Thin lizzy, GBH, The exploited etc. This band went in and out of excistence from 1982-1988, during that time we had a couple of different names... the most outstanding beeing Berits Polisonger (swedish for Berit's sideburns, Berit beeing a girlsname).
In '88 i got in contact with some guys into thrash that looked for a drummer for their band, Penance....i joined and we wrote some classic songs.. Edge of damnation, Visions of insanity etc...However before we got to record our first demo... the band decided to quit... At that time i had already started jammin with a few guys in Gothenburg, that band later took the name At the gates. We got signed straight away after our first demo "Gardens of greif" (which got released by Dolores rec as a ep) in '91. We got signed by Deaf/Peaceville and did 3 albums for them namely "The red in the sky is ours" '92, "With fear i kiss the burning darkness" '93,"Terminal spirit disease" '94.
Then we got signed by earache records and did one album for them called "Slaughter of the soul" '95. After slaughter of the soul we toured extensively for about 7 months. Since we hadn't done that much touring before there was a crack developing in the band.... and when we got back from the last tour in the states we decided to quit in july '96. I formed The Haunted together with Jensen (seance, witchery) the next day....we released one album for earache records in aug '98.
I got approached by Cradle at the dynamo gig '99 where we played with The Haunted, 2 weeks into June i was as filthy as i could possibly be.... bloody hell i really need a bath !

Martin's Biography
D.O.B. 19/07/73Male ( I think! ) MarriedAlcoholic
I joined Cradle Of Filth in 2000, although it has put years on my life! I have enjoyed working with this drunken band of reprobates immensely. It has given me the opprotunity to create and play music with no limits or artistic constraints. It has been a pleasure to travel the globe playing the songs we have written and to see the enthusiasm and sometimes fanatic behaviour at gigs. Without a doubt the workload is incredible, but there is a passion for all things musical that is self-evident in everything we do. I see absolutely no reason to complain.
It seems like the hardest job in the world at certain points and does take a lot out of one both physically and mentally. But as I always say, "it's better than workin' down't pit!".Sitting back after putting your all into an album and listening to the well won results is perhaps the most satisfying feeling of all, regardless of anyone else's opinions. I certainly cannot see myself doing anything else other than creating music. Necessity may make this impossible at some point, but I can't envisage ever stopping. I think that it's an innate drive.
I was previously a member of My Dying Bride for a great many years. I had a wonderful time with wonderful people and look back on those years with fondness.I also played with Anathema for a time. I have some unforgettable memories (and some unwashable clothes!)

James Biography
Biography and Musical Background:Born James McIlroy, 7th December 1977 in Kings Lynn, but was soon thereafter deported to Belgium as an undesirable where I spent up until my 18th after which I was foolishly let back in the country. I first developed an interest in the guitar and music in general at about the age of 4, but it took years before I picked it up seriously about age 15 and taught myself to play. Joined my first band about 1 or 2 years later, first serious(ish) bands about a year after that. Moved to London in 96 while still playing in Belgium, then was involved in a myriad of different projects resulting in Relentless, which got me the audition for CoF. I first came into contact with them via Adrian who put me forward for the audition, eventually joined as touring guitarist after they completed work on the Damnation and a Day album. Toured with the band for the entire Damnation every Day tour including Ozzfest2003 and the fall 2003 Type O Negative tour with Moonspell, Appeared on the 2 videos for the Damnation sessions, Mannequin and Promise of Fever (US only DVD Single release, 2003, Sony). Drank my way into the line up early 2004 and appear on the latest release, Nymphetamine (Roadrunner)
